This learning environment design combines a lab-like function for experimental production, a gallery supporting participants’ display and discussion of what they produce, and an apprenticeship structure in which learners can work side-by-side with skilled practitioners. The environment is meant to provide virtual design tools and dynamic simulations. Virtual objects can be then constructed as physical craft items.
