Hand-wrought letters and associated spatial, temporal and pressure qualities of pen movements map to typography and color variables, creating lively representations on-screen. The tool enables exploration of the writer's style and voice as they emerge through movements of hand and pen and the words that they shape. Further system development would incorporate sonic mappings, enabling experimentation with multimodal expressions.
